my Style

Specialising in newborn and family photography in Reading, Berkshire, I take a lifestyle approach to photography - capturing everyday moments and memorable portraits.   My goal is to deliver unique images, each beautiful and meaningful and inspired by the love and laughter of family and childhood.

My approach is very natural.  I consider each image as a frozen moment in time  - I want my clients to look at their collection and say 'Oh that was when...' 'Do you remember when she used to do that' or  'Oh I had forgotten the way he....' There is something so magical about freezing beautiful moments – tiny newborn fingers; a father’s smile for his daughter; the infectious laughter rippling through play time with a sibling. Early family memories really do pass by FAST: to capture them is to hold them there forever. I simply adore and treasure the responsibility of photographing these special times. With each click of the camera, I aim to capture  you, your family and your life. Each image in your gallery is fully edited and only the very best photos are selected.

Your session with me is built around you. I will join you in your family home or on location and work alongside the demands of family life. As both a mummy and a teacher, I know children can be a little unpredictable (and I love that). If a feed is needed, a stretch or play necessary or just a breather, then this comes first in your session. I like my clients to feel calm and relaxed from my first click to my last.

I hope you love and identify with the photographs you see on my website and blog! If you do, then please contact me for further information and a session consultation.  Take a glance at my portfolio and  client testimonials for more insight.

I want to provide families with the most beautiful, meaningful and authentic images they possess.

I want you to feel excited and emotional when you view your images, both now and for the rest of your lives. To fall in love all over again.

I want parents to have photographs of their children as they are now, and for children to have photographs of and with their parents because this is the most wonderful bond we will ever experience and it is worth celebrating!
