Newborn Family Photography

There is nothing more special than the first few weeks of welcoming your lovely new bundle into the world. As a mummy of three, I can completely understand how quickly those newborn weeks pass (often in a blur). You are doing an amazing thing in deciding to capture this special time, to remember it forever.  I simply love photographing newborn babies in their new homes. The best time to snap these magical moments, in a newborn shoot, is in the first 10 days, this way we can be sure to capture the lovely early curled-up look, however, we can, of course, achieve beautiful images at any time.

I keep things beautiful and natural with newborn sessions, a mixture of baby alone and real family moments. Taking a lifestyle approach to the session means I can capture those gorgeous and real family memories - cuddles on the sofa, relaxing in mummy and daddy's bed or a quiet feed in the nursery. There will be no cheese - I promise! My goal is to capture natural moments, not to manufacture them.

Sessions normally last up to 2 hours, although I work on the baby's time, they run the session, not me. I can completely appreciate what day-to-day life is like with a new baby (beyond special, but a little unpredictable!) I am here for you and will never get in the way of your little one's wants and needs. I also feel completely at ease with holding and calming babies. One word used by most of my clients, to describe me, is 'patient'. My time with you and your new arrival is never rushed, I am there to capture that special moment for your family! Your baby will never be this small, cuddly, sleepy, and perfectly new again.

Now, I know as well as anyone, that birth dates are pretty unpredictable, so I am happy to try and accommodate the arrival of your little bundle -  may it be early, on time or late - book your session and we can find a date that works for you.
